100lb Alligator Gar Rod and Reel from the bank!!!

Alligator Gar Fishing near the Trinity River in Texas. Curt Parker and Greg Miller caught the fish with Gary Satterfield video taping. The fish weighed about 100 pounds!!!!

Hakunamatata. Awesome fish. Nice fishin hole too. I wish we had those like that in michigan. We keep them as pets in fish tanks and watch them eat goldfish.

They do look alike. A Gator Gar is bigger, has a massive set of jaws and probably more dangersous, but they have a very similar colouration. I bet they are related.

Nice Vid! Here in the UK we get Pike up to 50/60lbs, but nothing like that! Pike and Gator Gar look quite similar. Hakuna Matata!!!!!
