@MrTatts64 the clamp which is not shown holds the reel strongly to the rod. i do not use this reel for fishing as its in such good condition. i have another two for that purpose.

Beautiful fishing reel. I was amazed at how small the reel foot is by comparison to the rest of the reel. Almost looks like there’s not enough metal there to hold it to the rod
