use shrimp or sardines , you wont be disapointed

Try using soft-plastics……worms and lizards. Any structure that is close to land…try fishing around it. And also try casting longways down the bank….. walk softly and try to be as quiet as possible so u dont spook the fish. Good Luck And Good Fishin!

I use Rapalas almost exclusively. Start with the classic black and silver floating in a size 9 or 11.

i know here in hillsdale if you go fishing from the bank you might as well figure on jumpin in when you get a bite. because the lake has a large population of trees, and any fish will wrap you around them, causing a snag. recommendation: jump in!
usually go small from the bank; lite weight jig heads with a skirt, spinners will work, beetle spins, roadrunners, even the plastic worm, poppers and jitterbugs when it is calm save the crank baits and spoons for the boat.
