best fishing rodes and lures?
Byme and a few friends are going on a fishing trip and i was wonder what are good baits, lures, and roeds to catch blues and stripers.

My favorite fishing rod is an Ugly Stik made by Shakespeare. Just the pole not the reel. They put a 65 pound weight on the end of the pole and it didn’t snap.

Blues and stripers, wish I was going. Anyhow, the rod depends on your budget Look for a reel with a lot of ball bearings (the more the better) and a medium/heavy rod, in case you hook the “big one”. As for lures, jigs are always a favorite of mine, along with topwaters & spoons. Stop in to some bait & tackle shops and explain what you would like to do. They’ll be able to show you the tackle, lures and baits that are working. Tight lines!

Try St. Croix rods. They are strong reliable and one of the very few made in America! Have Fun!!
