can anyone give me some good fishing tips?
ByIm actually a beginner, me n my buddy just started fishing n we wanna get more into it but we both dont kno a thing about lures or anything like were certain fish will be? so basically im asking if someone can tell me whats the best lures for like big bass, big trouts, just any big fishes cuz all we catch is little pathetic fish n were tryna get something nice! thanks

Well we need to know a few things first: what part of the country, and freshwater or saltwater. Even the same species of fish will respond differently in different parts of the country. For example, some areas its more popular to use crank baits as opposed to soft plastics. Its all about what forage is common and what kind of structure and bottom will be present.

Im a big fisherman and one of my favorite baits is a Rapala R-5 or R-7 (different sizes of the same thing) jointed minnow depending on where and what you are fishing for. Or just basically anything made by rapala. You might try throwing some different colored baits around and seeing which one gets the most bites. Both different types of soft baits(salamanders, worms etc.) and hard crank baits. Also every once in a while I will look at the solunar tables for the hunt/fish primetimes.

Good Fishing Tips, well start off your going to need a nice tackle box full of lures, like top water lures to buzz baits and spinners baits, plasit worms, crank baits, minnow baits, try different clors from natural baits to hot color baits like hot orange or hot yellow even black or white works good,, i would say go to your local baitshop and ask lots of questions they should be able to help you with lures that really catch big bass or trout in your area, look at this site for lots of great fishing tips also.
