Can you make bowstring out of fishing line?
ByI want to know if you wrap fishing line from end to end of the bow and wrapped it so itmade made a larger string and tied it off would it work. I have a brush bow and all I can afford and have is fishing line right now and my other bow string broke. So I figured since I built it out of fishing line I can make a string from it.

Or do I have to use clothes line or 550 pericord which I use very sparingly.

braided fishing line would probably make a serviceable bowstring, in a pinch.
mono stretches quite a bit, not sure how that would affect you………
