Fishing for black bass in very hot conditions?
ByHello I live in the Philippines, I am planning to fish in a lake teeming with Black bass. temperature would be 32-36 degrees Celsius in the day, it gets cooler in the late afternoons and evenings.
What time would it be ideal to fish? what lure/bait to use? and what is the ideal sizes of the lures?
thanks

In Louisiana I fish those same temperatures every summer. You need to get on the water at the break of daylight and fish for 3 hrs or so before the temperature gets unbearable. I catch fish with buzz baits early morning and when it is overcast. I also throw a few top waters early morning. I then try a 1/4 ounce spinner bait around the trees and bank. I then go to a Zoom Baby Brush Hog in june bug, red bug or watermelon green or cotton candy. I fish the brush hog in deeper water then I fish the previous baits. The bass seem to bite fairly good when the heat is up and the water temperature is high. Good luck!
