Fishing in a lake that has trout bass and other fish?
ByI want to go out on a boat in the lake and catch some bass and trout.. the lake also has some other fish too. I have fished from the banks of this lake and caught some bass using fake worms and little lures. What should I use when going in a boat? Where in the lake should I fish?

If i were you i would use spinners and bassworms. Fish along the shoreline around fallen logs, big rocks, docks etc.

for lake trout try using shiners and just let them swim on their own and drift, do this in the deep parts of the lake and you should have some luck every now and then you my get a pickerel or walleye.
Check out the coves with or with out Lillie’s use a top water lure, and chug or snap it in to your self and you will hit large mouth off the surface.

For bass and other warm-water fish (pike, etc.), you can use the same worms and little lures that you’ve used from shore. You can also move up to some deeper diving crank baits, spinner baits, plastic worms, and jigs…and work the deep water edge of the weeds. Find the depth where the weeds stop growing, and fish along that edge. In my home lakes, that’s around 8-10 feet deep.
A great way to cover water and find fish is trolling. One of the most universal techniques I’ve tried is to cast out two medium-diving crankbaits (Bomber A’s work great…anything that dives to 8-9 feet deep) in natural colors (shad, bluegill, etc.) and troll along the 10-12 foot beak (use your fish finder to stay in 10-12 feet deep). This catches bass, sheephead, pike, walleye, perch, white bass, crappie…and many others.
