Everglades….Hmm well I live in Florida and to tell you the truth I have never fished the Everglades. However I can tell you that if your not looking to do some saltwater fishing the canals down here make for some good fishing, and you don’t need a boat.. You can catch anything from Peacock bass to catfish. I fish more saltwater fishing so I am by no means a freshwater expert, but I would tell you to check out MyFWC.com for good fishing canals lakes and ponds. As far as bait goes you almost can’t go wrong with a live shiner. Like I said before though there are a few more people here that can give better freshwater fishing advise than me. Of course if your looking to do some saltwater fishing than I can help you out there.

Love fishing in Florida i do alot of fly fishing There are tons of places in the everglades any flats, mangroves, or Bridges from the shore offer fishing opportunities. Shrimp, crabs, are great for bone fish, red fish and tons of other fish. U can also you needle nose and other small bait fish. Last year i fished mosquito lagoon for red fish and it was unreal, then in august fished islamorada, and the everglades national park for snook, bones, and reds good luck wish i was there.
