tim what kind of fish are you wanting to catch is of major help. like we have all day to give to answering such a generic question as this? give some thought to what you are asking for and where do we even start?
I just fished Lake Lewisville in Texas last week. We were fishing mostly for bass and when the bite would cool down we fished for crappie. For bass I caught most of my fish on a watermelon red/green flake Senko. Just cast out and allow to sink then sweep rod up and repeat. For crappie we used minnows. I hope that we are talking about the same Lewisville.

Go to Walmart and get a Mann’s Baby 1 Minus in blue and white and a brightly colored Mini Rooster Tail. Just throw, crank, and be ready.
