Help with story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

By

I need help with my story. Here it is so far.
P.S. I know there are errors, so I don’t care about those!!!
I need help with thye over time, getting to the D-Day for the Knaves.
Here it is:
I swam down until I couldn’t see a thing. Just as I thought I got to the bottom, a ray of light struck from a passage way. As I climbed in, my eyes fluttered at the sight of another world.

I hopped out of my SUV and walked professionally to my work building. I opened the door and slammed it shut, giving the receptionist a scare. I handed her my work ID card.

“Good morning, Charlie.” She spoke. She swiped the card and gave it back to me. I clenched it in my hand as I walked towards the elevator. I lifted it to my face and found a post- it note attached to it. It read “call me! 555-0121!!!”
“Great” I thought to myself. I have never been looking for love. I don’t want to get tied down at 30. I’ve only had a few girlfriends, but love just never seemed to work out for me. I threw her phone number in the nearest garbage can and put my ID card back in my pocket. I sighed as the elevator door opened. I walked in and the elevator was so fast I thought I was going to puke. I walked out and ran my finger through my dark chocolate brown hair, knowing that today was going to be a long day.
I opened the door to the research lab and sat down in my lab chair.
“Have we found anything new?” I questioned.
“No. Nothing new in the ocean. I only-” Dr. Sanders stopped mid-sentence and gazed at his Calabator screen. He touched the screen and started typing. I practically jumped out of my seat to see what was on the screen. There was a passage that our mini-camcorder recorded. We wrote down the coordinates as Dr. Sanders stood up from his chair.
“Someone needs to check it out.” Dr. Sanders announced after a minute of thinking. Everyone just stared at him as if he was asking one of them to be killed.
“I’ll do it.” I proudly volunteered. Everyone started sighing in relief.
We practically ran to the elevator that takes us to the ocean. I got suited and hopped in. We entered the coordinates and the elevator shook, just like my legs. They said goodbye and let me go. I swam off into the dark sea, unprepared for the future.
I swam down until I couldn’t see a thing. Just as I thought I got to the bottom, a ray of light struck from a passage way. As I climbed in, my eyes fluttered at the sight of another world. I ripped my gear off and put it back in the ocean, not taking my eyes of the gorgeous land. I started walking around when a spear slightly missed my head. A shy thing started walking out of the forest. It had the body of a woman, but skin the color of black and blue. She walked toward me as I calmly waited for her.
“Hello,” She spoke softly. “My name is Icecess. And yours?”
“Charlie. No offence, but… what exactly are you?” I asked.
She sighed. “I am a Knave. Knaves have been around for millions of years, but humans haven’t ever discovered us. Well, except for you. We turn into fish when we hop in water. That’s why we have the colored skin. I was a 30 year old woman when I became a Knave. And I am still thirty. Once you are a Knave, your age will never change. I remember the day I became one like it was just yesterday. I was pulled by something underwater and they dragged me to this land. They turned me into a Knave by having me eat the Argotta bean; the magic bean made by my ancestors that were Knaves.”
“My ancestors weren’t the strongest Knaves around. Even after they invented the Argotta bean, they still were not considered worthy.”
“How did they become Knaves?”
“Well, no one knows how the first Knave came to be. But they were born from a Knave. Since I was here, my family status has changed, for I was the first Knave woman to be a Hunter.”
My cell phone started ringing as Icecess’ nose crinkled.
“Make it stop!” She cried. I flipped open my phone and walked over in the corner. I mouthed “sorry” to her and started talking.
“Sanders.” I said, not trying not to be too loud.
“We need to destroy those creatures.” I was in aw.
“Why? Wait, how do you know about the creatures?”
“That’s not important. They are plotting to destroy all of humanity.”
“I have to go.” I hung up the phone and turned it on silent.
“So who was that?” Icecess asked.
“Just a friend.”
“Why are you here?” Icecess questioned.
“Well. I don’t know.” I lied.
“Well, you have to have a reason.” Icecess knew I was hiding something.
“I’m a… marine biologist,” I started. “I was in the ocean and I stumbled across the passage way.” I lied. I didn’t want to, but she would figured out I had to destroy her land.
“Would you like to stay here?” She offered sweetly.
“Sure.” I smiled, for the first time in a long time. We walked over to a little hut and went in. The little hut is really big on the inside. The colors of the furniture made me feel peaceful.
“Would you like some tea?”
P.S. It’s much longer. Here’s a link to all of it! http://quizilla.teennick.com/stories/15797546/part-1-and-2-land-of-the-knaves
