how would i finish this speech?

By

I remember that the first book that I ever really liked was written by a man named Theodor Seuss Geisel. Some of you may know him as Dr. Seuss. Anyways the book that I really liked by him was One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. I remember when I was about five or six years old when one day I went to Costco with my parents. Usually, I wander around the toys section until I find something I like and ask my parents if we can take it. But this time, I passed through the books section and a colorful set of books caught my attention. I tried to read the cover but I couldn’t read the word “collection.” So I read it like this, “A (collection) of books By Dr. Seuss.” I remember that it came with three books. It came with One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, Green Eggs and Ham, and Hop on Pop.

Green Eggs and Ham and Hop on Pop were okay, but I really loved One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. I remember that it was a very long book. I can’t remember exactly how long, but I sure do remember that it was over fifty pages. I read that book so many times as a kid. I took it everywhere I went. There was a point in time where I had most of the book memorized. I still remember the first few lines. “One fish two fish red fish blue fish. Black fish blue fish old fish new fish. Some are red and some are blue. Some are old and some are new.”

My father, Jose, said this when asked, were there any books or magazines that I seemed to like more than other? Why did I like them so much? “Yeah you really liked that Dr. Seuss book about all the different color fish. You took it everywhere we went. And you weren’t like other kids that just took the book for the heck of it. You read the book a lot.”

My mother, Esther, said this when asked, did I have any teachers who seemed important in my development as a reader or writer? “There was that one teacher that you had in the second grade. What was her name? Ms. Kay. She was the first teacher that taught you to correct sentences and write daily journals.”

I guess that my liking of the rhyme scheme in most Dr. Seuss books affected the kind of music I like today. Today the kind of music that I am really fond of is hip hop. To me hip hop is essentially poetry recited to the beat of music. (now what?)
also what can i tittle it?

Ending. No idea, depending what you want to convey as an overall message,
but a title should be:
Changing Doctors: From Seuss to Dre

I don’t know about the end, but it’s a great speech! I also loved Dr. Seuss. How about
=Hip Hop on Pop=
for a title – sounds weird, but Seuss stuff IS weird!
Thanx for the bedtime story!
