i caught a 9 pound channel with the minnow and cheese flavor of magic bait.

2

wonderful another catfish my kids wont catch cause we just have to keep em and grill em up……this is why there’s no fun in fishing my local ponds anymore. Then again its your choice so no big deal i guess

If you use google – you’ll find several – but easy way to make one: buy swim noodle from walmart – and 1/2 PVC pipe – cut in 18″ length – drill hole in one end of pvc pipe – insert into noodle – tie on line at desired length and ‘drop line thru the pvc pipe i.e tie drop line to what will be the opposite end of the bottom of the noodle – add weight / hook (I use 2 ft depth but deeper is better for river or big lakes – I live on shallow lake full of stumps

tats tiny

I use different line for different fish – for crappie I like 4 lb mono – for catfish / yoyo’s use the line on the yoyo – for trotlie – use twisted drop lines (colored) on every other hook – and then ‘wax/coated’ lines on alternate hooks (so I can alternate bait and remember (know) which bait was used on which line.
Neighbors use spider wire and they seem to have more ‘line’ trouble than I do – plus they have hard time when they cast into my brush pile (can’t break the line :) :)

7

What kind of line do you use? I use spider wire 20 pound test for everything

8

For catfish – I like Ugly Stick 7′ MH with shakespear spinning reel – 12lb line (this set is cheap at Wal Mart :)

9

do a review on ur fishing rods

10

I cleaned this one immediately after making the video – got about a pound of fillet meat

I do sometimes throw them back if they are under 4 lbs

Did you keep the fish or throw it back?
