Needs help Florida Pier fishing.?

By

I live on Amelia Island Florida (also known as Fernandina Beach) and i live right on the beach. I have been fishing my whole life but am just now getting into pier fishing. If anybody can tell me exactly what i need (Weights, Hooks, Live bait, etc.) it would be very helpful. If you could send me a video of how to rig up my pole for pier fishing would be AWESOME! I went to gander mountain yesterday and bough Pyramid sinkers, 40LB 18″ Steel leaders, 1 Shrimp sabiki rig, and 1 normal sabiki rig. I know how to fish the sabiki rig. But like is said i just need help on how to set everything up and what live bait to use and how to use. Agian a video is awesome or pictures are cool to. Thanks to everyone who helps!

Your best bet for catching fish, would be to forget those ready made rigs & make your own.

start yourself some 3/8th to 1/2 oz egg sinkers, put your line through it & attach a #7 barrel swivel to your line, using an improved clinch knot then using an 18″ piece of mono line to the swivel, using the same knot, next, you will need a #2 or #1 off set hook & attach it to your line ( leader ) again, using the same knot. get some live shrimp for bait & you are good to go.
