Sir Anand Satyanand launches Jack Duggan’s ‘Echoes from the Bones’

NZ Governor General Sir Anand Satyanand’s speech at the launch of Jack Duggan’s poetry collection ‘Echoes from the Bones’ at St Joseph’s, Mt Victoria, in Wellington, on Sunday 26 September 2010. The book is published by Steele Roberts Publishers. The back cover description says: ‘The poems celebrate and reflect on Jack’s carefree youth, family and other loves, spear-fishing and deep-sea diving expeditions, and other colourful adventures.’ Jack is seated on the far left behind Sir Anand (Mary his on the far right next to Lady Susan Satyanand).

He looks like a Kiwi and certainly sounds like a Kiwi. Also what he says is very impressive. NZ should be proud to have him as GG.
