Striped Bass And Blue Fish Fishing In The Rain?
ByI’m going to the Chesapeake Bay next week to go fishing. I fish from the shore (as I don’t own a boat or anything) and instead of sticking with the same old perch, spot fish, sting rays, and small rock fish and blue fish, I’d like to try for the big ones.
It’s suppose to rain though.. Will that effect my fishing, especially since I’m on the shore (regardless of me fishing during high tide)?
Any tips?
Thank you!

Stay home and prevent getting your brains fryed by a lightening bolt. Fishing rods are exactly like lightening rods and lightening can strike 10 miles away from a cloud, I am very serious about this. If you are gonna go anyway use a throwline and no rod at all or better yet go to a fish market and buy a fish rain and fishing do NOT mix

Rain doesn’t effect it too much. These predatory fish know that when it rains, prey moves around. You will have just as much luck when it rains. These fish are used to it. Good luck.
