Goose Hunting?

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Question by Bhaskar: Goose Hunting?
So this guy is in Rhode Island hunting for geese. He catches one and puts it in his bag with the other geese. Just as he closes the bag, a Hunting Inspector walks up.
“Sir, can I please see that bag?” he asks. “Sure,” says the hunter and hands the bag over.
The Inspector looks through the bag, pulls out one goose, and sticks his finger up its a!!ss. He pulls it out, smells it and says, “This here’s a Virginia goose, do you have a Virginia Hunting License?”
The hunter looks through his wallet and pulls out it and shows it to the inspector. The inspector nods and sticks his hand in the bag and pulls out another goose.
He sticks his finger up it’s a!!ss and says, “This here’s a Maine goose, do you have a Maine Hunting License?”
The hunter looks again through his wallet, pulls out the card, and shows it to the inspector. He nods again, and pulls out the last goose. He does the routine and says, “This here is a Rhode Island goose, do you have a Rhode Island Hunting License?”
The hunter fishes through his wallet, shows the card to the inspector and puts it back in.
“Boy,” you having all these licenses, where you from?” asks the Inspector.
The hunter pulls down his pants and asks, “Why don’t you find out?”

Watching egrets hunt is fascinating as it involves quite a lot of standing still with quick, darting motions to spear fish.

During the cold weather, when the so-called Back Bay, or Mill Pond, in the rear of the city and bordering on the Mill Dam, is frozen over, such scenes as our artist has sketched for us are daily represented. Men who make fishing their business and those who resort thither for pleasure, may be seen screened by their wind tents, industriously pursuing their operations. Smelting and eeling is made a source of considerable profit in this way. Some of the smartest fishermen will spear twelve or fifteen dozen eels in a day, and catch as many smelts. It is a sight worth a long walk to see, and some of our housed citizens, who scarcely stir abroad in the cold weather, must muffle up and go down to the foot of Beacon street and witness the scene.

Hobbies like fishing and hunting has a long history and practiced from decades. It is considered as one of the royal hobbies. With the time it also gets modernized and now exists in different forms. Today, we can find adventurous outfitters providing facilities like multi user store to sell and purchase equipments.

In some countries it is also considered as national tradition but as the effect of global warming and continuous process of forest destruction, it is not easy as before. Therefore to practice good and legal hunting, we need to find out the locations and conditions rich of natural resources like Canada. It is the second largest country in the world rich of natural beauty and resources. Provinces like Ontario, Saskatchewan etc are rich of hunting forests and water sources for fishing. Outfitters service providers from Canada are well known for their services and facilities al around the world.  They are trying to make adventurous activities like camping, outing, hunting etc more exciting and modernize. For example – now a day’s promotion through internet and mobile application is a good way to share information and knowledge across the world and many firms developed amazing mobile applications to promote lodges and guides.

Fish are very diverse and are categorized in many ways. Such as Jawless fish are the most primitive fish, Cartilaginous fish have a cartilaginous skeleton, Cartilaginous fish don’t have swim bladders, Bony fish include the lobe finned fish and the ray finned fish, and there is the Teleosts which are the most advanced or “modern” fishes. The Modern Fishes are overwhelmingly the dominant class of fishes with nearly 30,000 species, covering about 96 percent of all extant fish species.

Another example is of Multi user store consist of various hunting products and equipments. It is a place where we can find almost complete material and equipments which are used frequently for fishing and hunting. All this products which are used in common for outing are not easily available in the market. So, a Multi user store for this kind of products would be a good option to find every thing at a single place for sale. In fishing, species like walleye, musky, salmon needs special kind of spinal rods, fishing rods, spinning reels etc to catch them. Where as in hunting products like binoculars, leg gaiters, hunting knives, guns, compass etc needed to be selected carefully before going to enjoy our hunting hobby. There are number of equipments are available in market t make our journey more exciting and comfortable. All we need to take proper knowledge of new products and their quality assurance. For this, a multi user store for hunting

Question by Dillon E: Need help making a good bird hunting dog?
the dog is a springer spaniel and I need some tips and tricks so I can make him a good bird hunting dog

Best answer:

Answer by Casey B
well, you should train it for gunshots first of all, then put some feathers from the birds your hunting in one of it’s favourite toys like a tennis ball, because the dog will think that it’s retrieving it’s toy, not a bird. train it not to chew the bird, but to hold it and give it to you on command and discipline it if doesn’t do as you say. discipline is the only way to have a hunting dog, or it’ll ruin the birds or leave the birds to float away. I’ve had this happen when hunting with a friend, i shot a bird and his dog didn’t want to retrieve my duck and it floated to the middle of the lake and stayed there, ohhhhhhhhhh I felt like beating that dog all the way home!! even though it wasn’t my dog.
if you have a dog like that, either train it outta that line of thought or don’t use it, because it can be really f***ing annoying at times.

Dog nuisances

To MSH Group: After driving up and down my area looking for a traditional road sign with wildlife on it and finding NONE, I realize I had get imaginative. (BTW, in almost three years of living in Chicagoland I never noticed the lack of wildlife road signs so this was informative.)

I was going to take a bug and put it on a sign and take a picture, but then I came across Reinhilde’s submission for this item and decided to go in this direction instead. Whether dogs constitute wildlife or not is open to interpretation, I suspect. Certainly "nuisances" would, no?:)

Fly fishing The St. Joe is the place to be for some great cutthroat fishing. Hot bugs are little red ants, beetles and caddis. The upper St. Regis is skinny in places, but the afternoon and early evening fishing is still good in the deeper holes. Browns are taking dries.
