this is just a little thing about at 1:01 this comes from an extreamly experienced (sorry about the spelling) blue gill fisherman you dont realy need a sinker unless your useing a slip bobber or like your stick bobber to stand i knoe alot of you will yell at me for this comment

I dont like targeting Bluegill while they bed, thats not good for the populations.
When you take a bluegill off it’s bed, everything rushes in and eats all the eggs.
Besides, thats the noob way. Dont be a noob.

Also why are you taking them home to eat when they are bedding? I never eat bedding fish as that’s one of the quickest ways to decrease the population of fish. I always C&R bedding fish.

bass do sometimes hang around in the blue gill beds because they eat the bluegill. try a bluegill for bait for some great bass fishing!

no it wont. i use them all the time. timbuc two crawlers work really good. so do grubs. but stink bait does not!

Just hook u on a big catfish and you will catch bluegill all day

the eisest way is to use small hooks and cast a nightcrwarler into the nest. (no bobber) dangle it in front of their face. it works every time.
