Guppies and glass fish are small I used to have guppies and they were half and inch to an inch long and they lived for 6 years.

Try a beta fish. They are beautiful and very easy to take care of.

Guppies are cheap ugly and they don’t do anything! Get some nice Angel Fish!

Tetras and guppies are my two favorite small fish. They live for a while, and come in literally thousands of color and fin varieties(guppy). Tetras light up ANY tank.
If you are looking to try your hand at breeding later on, I definitely recommend you try the guppies as well. Super easy and tolerant to changing water conditions.
Feeding both kinds of fish is easy as well. Flakes, brines, and veggies.

Well cared for fish live lots of years, any species that lives in clean water and is not over-fed will live for years, longer in captivity than in the wild. You must learn to care for your fish,it’s not hard,or time-demanding,but it requires learning, and diligence. Oddly enough, the first things that you must learn to care for are bacteria. No aquarium can support life long-term without the bacteria Nitrobacter and Nitrosomonas.
Goldfish have long life spans (25 years) but require large tanks and lots of attention to live this long.
Some fishes I have kept for long periods of time include Synodontis Catfish(lace) 18 yrs.,Albino Tiger Oscar 14 yrs., Blue-eyed Panaque(a Pleco) nearly 20 yrs., Illyodon Furcidens(a livebearer) 10 yrs. and counting, Red-tailed Goodeid (another livebearer) also 10 yrs. and still kicking.
The truth is, fishkeepers who have experience and who study their fishes needs have fish that live a long time.

hi, you should try guppies they come in various colors they are very easy to take care of, im planning on getting those i know a fish expert she said they live long if you take care of them right they grow bout 1 maybe 2 inches. Make sure if you buy guppies dont buy 2 males they’ll fight each other and if you want to breed its 5 female to 1 male so 6 fish lol, yea seems sort of confusing
