When bow fishing, do you just use a normal bow with the bow fishing equipment?
ByAs in do I just need a bow and then the bow fishing kit?

you use a normal compound bow or crossbow and you can buy the bow fishing attachments.

I have used both compound and crossbow for fishing. They were both regular hunting bows that I bought the fishing kit to attach to them. I don’t know about a standard bow though. I don’t think my crossbow fishing kit will attach to a standard bow.

YES, that’s all. The only thing that makes it easier is if your recurve bow or compound bow has a front tap for a stabilizer. They will even mount on most crossbows.If you have a bow with the pre-tapped hole, the bowfishing reel and rig screws right into the stabilizer threaded female hole and you are good to go. yes but with the proper equipment attatched (line, special arrow, reel)
