Why do girls always make funny faces when they take pictures of themselves or a picture is being taken of them
ByLol don’t you guys get that sucking your face in like a fish makes you look worse? Where did you get the idea that it makes you look better? You guys know what I’m talking about right the girls that suck there cheeks in so that their face looks screwed up. Why do you guys do that. Personally I think a smile looks a million times better. Is it because girls are insecure about the way they look? Explain.

Usually this is a sign of lack of self confidence in their looks. They figure they might hide their looks by making a face.

Its not that they’re unconfident, but the exact opposite. If a girl is really confident about how they look, they don’t feel bad about looking weird.

haha that is bad. its becuase theyre pretending to be a movie star that kisses in the air trying to be sexy but I think something happened to her that made her eyes get all big like she fell over or something but yeah i know that you mean… the pout also makes you lips look bigger. who knows I dont like it either.

They don’t like the way they look so they alter it in a way they can control. If anyone makes fun of the picture then they can say they were messing around.

When girls are with their friends, taking pictures is about laughing and having fun, not really looking good, and the crazy faces reflect that.
Girls don’t always take pictures just to impress guys ya know!!!

i personally dont do that.but i know some girls who do. i think they do it to be funny. they dont do it in all their pictures.

lol thats really true. i personally only smile in pictures but thats also because my modeling supervisers have told me to only smile, but to be perfectly honest with you, they do it for attention and “myspace pictures” theres this thing called a “myspace face” and they seem to think it looks cool when they do it.
it really doesn’t. it makes them look ugly. i completely agree with you.

yep they either do that or hold up two fingers and do a weird thing w/ their lips. Prolly so they have a facial expression to do and don’t have just a blank look on their face.

Girls don’t ALWAYS make silly faces at the camera. It may be that that’s how they want to present themselves at that particular moment. Guys make silly faces at the camera as well. Take it easy… its just picture.

the myspace photo-op has take over females everywhere. I guess they think its the cool thing to do. same with taking a picture of yourself in a mirror… all I can ask is, why?

a lot of my friends do it and it bugs meim like ya look a lot better when u smile. i think they like to do it because they think their smile is weird or they look weird when they smile. or maybe they want to look weird i don know
